Job Description
-
provide construction inspection and quality control/assurance testing for various civil engineering projects
-
conduct field compaction testing of soils
-
carry out laboratory testing on soils, concrete and asphalt
-
carry out field concrete testing as per CSA requirements
-
conduct pile construction monitoring for driven steel and cast-in-place concrete piles
-
provision of quality assurance testing for Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation projects
-
liaise with project engineers and site representatives
-
Civil or Geological Technology Diploma
-
consulting experience (preferred)
-
registration with ASET or immediate eligibility
-
able to work and cooperate in a team environment
-
strong writing and communication skills
-
proficiency with spoken and written English is required
-
