Fort Edmonton Pedestrian Bridge
Footbridge over the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton, Alberta: 246 m long suspension structure designed as a pedestrian and bicycle crossing. Trans-Canada Highway 69 near Estaire, Ontario

Richmond Olympic Oval
The Oval was constructed near the bank of the Fraser River on very thick deposits of loose sand and compressible silt. Designing a 100 meter long arch roof and a super-flat floor surface with an extremely tight settlement tolerance on compressible ground was extremely challenging (Photo: Bob Matheson).
Victoria Convention Centre
This beautiful facility was built as an addition to the majestic Empress Hotel (background). A recent expansion has added the former Crystal Garden structure across the street (foreground).
